Vermont Association of Nurse Anesthetists
The Vermont CRNAs lobbied at the statehouse, gave out pens, pamphlets and lung-shaped stress relievers with the Vermont Association of Nurse Anesthetists (VTANA) logo.
There was a great turnout, and members talked with many state legislators and the Lieutenant Governor extensively.
VTANA had a great day and plans to do this again, and will include a breakfast with legislators. There also is a member campaign to have members meet with their local representatives and get the word out about the great anesthesia CRNAs provide to Vermont residents.
VTANA displayed information about CRNAs for legislators.

2016 Promotional Idea - Student Activities
Excela Health School of Anesthesia
A total of 386 pounds of food were collected and donated. This food drive was chosen in an effort to be able to reach out to the disadvantaged in the local area during the holiday season. The drive, which was a school community project, provided an excellent opportunity to display the career of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to the community at large and promote the upcoming CRNA Week celebration from January 24-30, 2016.
University of Puerto Rico Nurse Anesthesia Program
Because not everything in our preparation path is to study, we planned a nice get together at the bowling center where we had the opportunity to share time with our faculty professors, colleagues and family. To conclude our celebration of CRNA week, an open house was conducted by our program for all those interested in the profession. Information about the program and simulation of some of the anesthesia skills every CRNA is trained for were brought to our School of Nursing’s Lobby.
