Where can I find my CE credits?

Active AANA members can find their CE credit status right on your personalized MyAANA home page. Simply click on the login button in the top navigation and look for the My CE Credits section on the page.

How can I access AANA Learn for online education opportunities?

The direct link to AANA Learn is found under the CE and Education tab on the main navigation. 

How do I find a topic area’s home page, e.g. Practice, for each section of the website?

The main navigation bar for the site is found under the AANA logo, where you can find topic headers such as CE and Education, Advocacy & Policy, etc. When you click or tap on the link in the main navigation, you will see an expanded sub-menu with a blue background. For example, you can select the homepage for Practice or you can drill down to the sub-menu items, such as Practice Documents. The same applies for all main navigation items.

Where can I find the latest edition of the AANA Journal?

Access your AANA Journal under the Publications tab in the main navigation.

Can I search to find AANA Journal articles?

Yes. Now you can search the past five year's of AANA Journal articles on the AANA Journal home page. Just hit the purple Search AANA Journal button to begin.

Why are there locks next to some of the links?

Some content on the website is only accessible to active members. If you are an active member, you will first need to log in if you aren’t already logged in to access this content.

How can I get back to the home page of the site from an interior page?

There are two ways to get back to the home page:

  1. Tap or click on the AANA logo in the top left corner of the page, or
  2. Tap or click the Home link in the breadcrumb navigation, found below the main navigation bar.

Can I share information from the website on my social media sites, like Facebook and Twitter?

Yes. Now it’s quick and easy to inform your peers or start a discussion simply by selecting the social media platform of your choice, right from the page you’re reading. Every page has social share buttons, found near the top right corner of every page underneath the main navigation. There is also a social share button next to each AANA Journal article.

What do I do if I forgot my username or password for the website?

The login page includes standard links to help for Forgot Username and/ or Forgot Password. You will receive an email with instructions. If you’ve opted in to receive password resets by text, you can expect to receive instructions on your mobile device.

How does search work on the new website?

Type a word or phrase in the search bar at the top of any page and hit enter or click or tap the search icon. The search results will display based on the relevancy of the term(s) entered.

In addition to searching aana.com, AANA Learn and AANA Connect's General Community will be searched. (Note: AANA Connect content will only be available to AANA members.)

There are two ways to narrow your search results;
  • Above the search results, select an item, such as AANA Journal Articles, Documents, or Pages to narrow by content type.
  • To the left of the search results, additional filters will display relative of the content type selected. Check the boxes next to the category(s) by which you want to narrow your results. See example below:
