Board Nomination Application

AANA Foundation Board of Trustees Criteria​

Application Deadline:  June 1

We are currently seeking nominations for the Board for an AANA CRNA member. Members are allowed to self-nominate or nominate other members. NOTE: Criteria and requirements are different for CRNAs vs SRNAs. Only CRNA Board members are being sought this year.

Criteria for Board Members

  • Current CRNA and AANA member in good standing
  • Must be a supporter of the AANA Foundation of time, talent and treasure
  • Must be willing to advocate for the AANA Foundation
  • Must have a Foundation giving history
  • Must have a history of volunteerism
  • Term is for two years (September – August)

Criteria for Student Board Members

  • Current SRNA and AANA member in good standing
  • Must be a nurse anesthesia student for three months upon application
  • Must hold student status while serving on the Foundation Board for at least twelve months
  • Written permission must be obtained from his/her Program Administrator indicating that the student applicant is able to fulfill all board/committee responsibilities (including meeting attendance) in addition to their clinical and didactic requirement.
  • Term is for two years (September – August)

  • Cover letter describing why you wish to be an AANA Foundation Board member
  • Permission letter from your Program Administrator to the AANA Foundation
  • CV
  • Student application form (apply in 2023)
  • Student nominee profile form (apply in 2023)
